This course is designed to increase the participant’s ability to identify, speak, and listen in English. This course contains specific vocabulary, phrases and expressions related to the construction industry which gives necessary English language skills for the work force. Improving communication skills, increases job productivity and industry expansion. It is highly encouraged that all courses within a level be completed before moving to the next level.
This course is designed to increase the participant’s ability to understand and convey the meaning of phrases and sentences related to the construction industry. The course is designed for individuals who can communicate without a translator. Individuals in this course may have a basis of field vocabulary, but minor knowledge of grammar and sentence structure. Course content consists of: 50% phrases and sentences, 25% vocabulary and 25% grammar.
This course focuses on improving conversational fluency. Course Content consists of: 50% conversation & literacy, 30% Grammar and 20% Vocabulary. This course is for individuals who communicate fluently in English, but with consistent grammatical errors.
