A Giant Step for Central Florida

Rosen Shingle Creek is one of the largest full-service convention resorts in Central Florida.

Welbro Building Corporation is justly proud of their major contribution to this monumental project.

The 230-acre resort offers 1500 guest rooms and suites, and 445,000 square feet of dedicated, state-of-the-art meeting space, including one of the nation’s largest column-free ballrooms at 95,000 square feet.

A full-service spa, fitness center and championship golf course are also featured along with four swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, canoe trips, nature trails, fishing areas, a volleyball court and much more.

To ensure high standards, budget control and on-time completion, Welbro divided construction into two competing teams-one to handle the Hotel Tower construction and the other for the wide-ranging site work package.

Although this healthy competion promised an early completion date, the owner realized that working together would even improve the schedule. The result was an opening of September 9, 2006—a full two and a half months ahead of the original completion date.
