	Construction Industry Business of the Year

The Central Florida Chapter of ABC will host the first Construction Industry Business of the Year Awards in 2009 to recognize and honor those members who have made outstanding contributions to the industry, our communities and ABC. 

Award categories include General over and under 200 employees, Specialty Contractors over and under 100 employees, Suppliers over and under 75 employees, as well as Associates over and under 50 employees. 

In addition, special recognition will be considered for an outstanding Minority Contractor, an Emerging Contractor, as well as for members with particular achievement in the area of human resources, community services, diversity, training and ABC involvement.

All member companies in good standing with the Chapter are eligible.  Awards will only be given in each category to nominees that meet the criteria for the award.

There are two entry forms, one for the Construction Industry Business Awards and one for the Safety Star Awards.  The next step in determining the winner is for your company to complete the entry form.  These forms include required questions that need to be completed and returned.  Answer all questions in narrative format using as many additional pages as necessary. 

Photos may be included and are encouraged to enhance your application.  The information you submit will be held strictly confidential. 

Once completed, please mail or fax your entry to ABC, 651 Danville Drive, Suite 200, Orlando, FL  32825. 

The deadline for submitting the form is February 27, 2009.

The 2009 winners will be announced at the Central Florida Chapter ABC Construction Industry Business of the Year Awards Banquet to be held in the spring of 2009.  The finalists will be notified in advance.
